"Life will love you back" by Love Phobia

She was born in Algeria but moved to France at the age of five. After her parents divorced she went to live with her father in New York City, and developed the ever so charming French accent in combination with her exotic look.

We will probably never know if her name really is Love Phobia, although she keeps confirming it. But what I sure know is that "Life will love you back" is a hell of a debut. It sounds like Sade and Simply Red, but combines Raphael Saadiq with Diana Ross as well. And Love Phobia is surely influenced by Billie Holliday and Natacha Atlas too.
