Ghosts in Spanish Culture (a.k.a. GiSC) is a multiracial DJ/rap crew from Pamplona, Spain."Contrary to general belief" is their first album and it's entirely made with turntables. Of course they can't get all of the live energy onto a CD but their debut sounds nevertheless very hard and convincing. Although it's a bit weird to record an album completely made of ...album recordings. This a powerfull breakthrough of a very talented bunch of rap artists.
One of the best albums of this year. Not to be missed!
